Hello people,
Here I am again. I’m sorry that I have not been
writing anything on here lately. Life came in the way. I had many, many, many
important things to do and clarify and everything has been a little crazy. To
give you a little insight scoop on what is going on keep reading. And after my
rambling part, you are able to read all about my January (yes, I know I’m late)
favorites.
So, during the last four weeks a lot has changed. I’m
about to officially start writing my Master Thesis. Therefore, I had tons of
paper work to finish and hand in. And I had many appointments due to that.
Additionally, I also applied for a summer school program. The whole application
process was kind of crazy, because I got all the necessary information about
deadlines, what to hand in, etc. 4 days before the application deadline. Yes,
that was great. I hope you are able to imagine my not so calm facial
expression. Anyway, everything worked out just fine, thanks to me being very
organized for such occasions. And the very great and exciting news are that I
have been accepted!! I’m going to spent the summer in the USA!!! I’m so
excited, you cannot imagine.
That is what has been going on for the last weeks. I
hope it will calm down soon.
Let’s move on to my January favorites.
There are a few things that I have loved, discovered,
and bought at the wonderful first month of the year. Keep on reading.
As I may have mentioned before in one of my other
posts, I am a huge shoe addicted. Well, every woman has a huge love for shoes,
but my addiction is just ….. eh… we better not talk about that. Anyway, I
bought some new shoes. Some beautiful heels. I am so in love with them. There
are so beautiful. I saw them in the store, and I was like “when are you going
to wear them? And do you really need them?” And I left them there and went
home. BUT they were spooking around in my mind whispering “You need me so
bad!!” and the next day I gave in and bought them. They are dark blue, grey,
and black. They are from the brand Tamaris and I bought them on sale!! (I need
to tell me that to justify my action.) They are incredibly comfortable. I
better show you a picture of them. I am unable to describe their beauty. You
just have to see them.
Aren’t they pretty? J
The next favorite, that I absolutely love during any
cold month, are my beloved UGG boots. I know there are many controversies about
them. But don’t judge me for loving the ones that I have. I never had warmer
feet ever during the winter. And they are so amazingly comfortable and fluffy.
I have the classic short one in dark brown and the Bailey Button one in grey. I
know they are very expensive, very, very expensive. And sometimes I ask myself
what the hell was I thinking saving money to buy them but then again I remember
my amazingly warm and comfortable feet that I don’t regret a thing.
The next item, I want to tell you about is – surprise,
surprise – a beauty product. It is a blush from Max Factor in the color 15
seductive pink. I just love this blush. It gives your cheeks such a healthy and
beautiful glow in a pinkish, peachish color. I’m so in love and obsessed with
it. I bought mine at the DM drugstore in Germany and it costs €8.45.
The last favorite of the month is neither a shoe, beauty
product, nor even an object. It is a film. For those who live on the moon, I’m
talking about Grease Live. Oh my God, this was incredible, amazing and I’m
without words, which does not happened often. It stars Julianne Hough as Sandy
Young, Aaron Tveit as Danny Zuko, Vanessa Hudgens as Betty Rizzo, Carlos
PenaVega as Kenickie, and so many more incredibly talented people. It was a
live television special broadcasted by FOX on January 31, 2016. I just loved
this. I can’t even tell you what I love most about it, because that would be
everything. Grease is one of the few movies that I will always love. With watching
Grease Live I got greased all over again. You have to check it out and tell you
how much you liked it.
This was very long blog post and I hope I did not bore
you. When you are still reading this, you made it to the end without falling
asleep. Which is a good thing, I think. Anyway, see you next time.
